I'm Jared—a filmmaker and motion designer based in Vancouver who's been making things move (both literally and digitally) for the better part of a decade.
I've worked on everything from brand explainers to social campaigns to educational content that breaks down complicated ideas into something people actually want to watch.
Before I got into filmmaking, I was deep into parkour—still am, actually. Eighteen years of training how to move through space, plus collaborating with Vancouver's street dance scene, taught me a lot about rhythm, timing, and how movement tells a story. That physical understanding shows up in how I approach camera work, animation timing, and how shots flow together.
I work across the full process: coming up with concepts, storyboarding, designing and animating in After Effects, editing in Premiere Pro, and creating music and sound design in Ableton Live. I'm kind of obsessed with how audio and visuals work together—when you get both dialed in, something clicks that's bigger than either piece alone.
These days, I'm especially interested in projects around science and political science—topics where good visual storytelling can make abstract or urgent ideas land in a way that sticks with people.
I work with brands, organizations, and creative teams who want motion design and video content that actually connects with their audience. If you're working on something interesting, let's talk.
